*Featured Adoptable*

Cherry was found a stray and quite scared of people. The shelter that picked her up made great progress in a few months, and she’s coming out of her shell amazingly at our foster home in North Carolina!

If you would like more information about her, please click on the button below. It will take you to our Available Animals where you can then find her in our Petfinder listing.

Gimli has been with us for about a month, and we have been working to treat his skin issues. While on a trip to the vet for a checkup, we discovered he has torn his ACL, too. Gimli will need surgery for this, and could use your help!

The Gift of Your Time is Priceless.

Volunteering at an animal shelter/rescue can be a rewarding experience with many benefits. Volunteers often state that helping a rescue organization changed their lives. They never forget the animals they helped get on the road to recovery, or the people who are a part of this important mission.

Because most are nonprofits, rescues need volunteers to keep operations running smoothly and the doors open to the public.

Anyone can volunteer!
You just have to love animals and be ready to work.

Are you ready?
